Bound in red morocco, with gilt-tooled floral border, within double gilt rules; gilt spine in six compartments, black morocco lettering-pieces in second and third compartments ; volumes misnumbered. Each volume decorated with double fore-edge paintings, of which the first is in two scenes, depicting Oxford, Florence, London from the Thames; Stoke-Poges Church, Stratford on Avon, Church and Bridge - St. Bury's; The Hundred Steps - Windsor, Henry the 8th Gate - Windsor, and Leeds Castle.
