Dedication by de Buisine to Jean Armand du Plessis, duc de Richelieu, nephew of Cardinal Richelieu. Jean Armand is addressed as pair de France, an honor he received in 1657; the work must date no earlier than that year, perhaps to 1660. See Fowler.
