Card 1 is faintly identified in the engraving by "B B I" in three rows, alongside the window in the upper left. Cards 2, 4, 6 are identified in the lower margin, left to right: "C. P. Maj. | BB | M. Eng. exc. A.V." i.e., C[um]. P[rivilegio]. Maj[estatis]. | B[uch] B[inderei] | M[artinus] Eng[elbrecht] exc[udebat] A[ugustae] V[indelicorum].

Summary
The set, of the medium-format Engelbrecht series, comprises six hand-colored etchings (no. 1-5) depicting the various operations in a bookbinding workshop of the 18th century. The sixth is the room as background.
