Originally published in 4 parts, with part I appearing in 1829 and parts II-IV published in 1830.
Lithographic portrait, illustrated t.p., and 20 plates by Harding after Bonington; plates are printed on chine, except "Maternal solicitude" and "Church of St. Sauveur," which are tinted. The Captions and imprints on all plates except Church of St. Sauveur and French coast are masked in printing, leaving only the names of Harding and Bonington.
Library copy consists of 22 individual plates trimmed to various sizes and mounted into bound album (Bonington album PML 140269) on folios 2, 3, 17, 18, 20, 22-24, 31, 32, 34, 55, 60, 61, 65, 67, 80, 85, 87-89, 93.
