Engraved throughout. Thirty-five plates on the left-hand page depict moments in the celebration of the mass, with appropriate scenes from the life of Christ above a band of clouds, Latin captions at head and French captions at foot. Right-hand pages have prayers in Latin and French, with standing saints at right and left and flowers at foot. The engraving depicting events from the life of David and other Bible stories, preceding the 7 penitential psalms in Latin, is absent.

Red morocco, heavily tooled in gilt on front, back, spine and edges. All edges gilt. One clasp and half of the other present. Binder identified as le Gascon on flyleaf. In a red slipcase.
