"Joannes Ramey" inscription on title page. Book curse dated 1668 and signed "Ramey ... humanista" on last flyleaf, repeated in part on upper cover (signed) and on first flyleaf (unsigned). From the library of the Ramey family (16th-cent. France).

Contemporary limp parchment with yapped fore-edge cover extensions; manuscript waste; manuscript on spine and tail (author's name and title); evidence of paper spine label and two pairs of fore-edge ties.
