Summary
Friendship album, with each leaf containing eight labelled printed panels in two rows captioned at left "Likes" and "Dislikes," intended to be filled with drawings by each contributor illustrating his or her favorite or least liked moral qualities, proverbs, activities, animals, etc. Album contains entries by 13 individuals on the front 13 leaves of the volume, signed and dated Feb. 1875 to April 1876, with 12 leaves of drawings executed in pen and ink, and 1 entry containing 8 watercolors pasted into the appropriate panels. All but one of the contributors completed the printed entries, with the final contributor on leaf [14] filling only the first square of the top row for "Proverb".
