Plates appeared in A new and improved Roman history ... By Charles Allen .... The second edition, embellished with four copper plates (London: Printed for J. Johnson, 1798).
Plates: "Mars and Rhea Silvia" (77019.143); "The death of Lucretia" (77019.144); "C. Marius at Minturnum" (77019.145); and "The death of Cleopatra" (77019.146); all with imprint "Published Decr. 1, 1797 by J. Johnson, St. Paul's Church Yard."
There were no plates in the first edition.
Plates removed from Allan Cunningham's Life of William Blake (Herriman album).
