One hundred and eighteen engraved plates illustrating the history of the presentatione della chinea festival in Rome rom 1722 until 1778, recording the fireworks machinery designs of various artists.
Artists included: Alessandro Specchi (1668-1729), Gabriele Valvassori (1683-1761), Bartolomeo Poli (d. 1736), Ferdinando Fuga (1699-1781), Louis Le Lorrain (1716-1768), and Paolo Posi (108-1776).
