" ... This new Fortsas was printed and published by The Press of Ward Schori in a limited edition of about 400 copies. After printing, the type for the notes was discarded. The type for the text, saved for five years, was re-worked into smaller pages and reproduction proofs made. These were photographically reduced and printed ... for this miniature book - limited to 249 copies"--Colophon.
The "reprint" of the Fortsas catalog is actually a translation of the text (the t.p. and preliminaries are not included)--of Renier Hubert Ghislain Chalon's anonymously written Catalogue d'une très-riche mais peu nombreuse collection de livres provenant de la bibliothèque de feu Mr le comte J.N.A. de Fortsas. A catalog of the imaginary collection of the fictitious count was published in 1840.
