"400 copies of this book have been printed by Esther and Leonard Baskin and Richard Warren at the Gehenna Press ... The portrait of Owen was wood engraved by Leonard Baskin from a drawing by Ben Shahn and printed from the wood block. Thirty-five copies have been bound in half-leather with an extra proof of the wood engraving printed on Japanese Vellum, and signed by the artist and engraver"--Colophon.
