Hédé-Haüy lists 30 individual plates comprising Devéria's published suite of lithographs entitled "Contes de La Fontaine", issued, according to his account of the suite's publication, in 6 parts from 1829 to 1830, with parts 1-3 and 6 containing 6 plates each, part 4 containing only 5 plates, and part 5 comprised of a single plate ("Le Quiproquo"); he further notes the existence of several additional plates by Devéria illustrating the Contes de La Fontaine which appear to have been intended as a continuation of the series.
