Album of 90 engravings by or after Gravelot [print]

Collection of 90 engravings, many of them proof impressions (including proofs before letters and etched states), dating from the years after Gravelot's return to France in 1746, inlaid in or mounted onto 46 leaves of a bound album. They include 56 impressions from the 80 subjects comprising the Suite de petits sujets (Paris : F. Chereau, n.d.), engraved by J. Bacheley after Gravelot's designs in 1770, as well as invitations, address cards, advertisements, and headpieces for funeral orations.
