Official printing of the amendment giving women the right to vote: "The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex." Note at end says the amendment was signed by the Speaker of the House on June 4, 1919 and by the Vice President on June 5, 1919.
