Notes
13 circular colored aquatint battle views of the British Army in the war against Napoleon. Each view originally hinged, forming a connected series with circular engraved title at each end. Folded into a medal-shaped bronze container with portrait in relief of the Duke of Wellington on top and History on bottom. Originally issued in red morocco box with Record of British valour stamped in gold.
Title on first circular card within engraved serpent illustration, signed Rymer sc.
Descriptive letterpress on each verso.
Bronze relief signed F. Porter, with "Record of British Valour".
"England's great captain Arthur Duke of Wellington"--Bronze container caption above portrait.
