At foot of most of the plates included here: "Maison Martinet; Imp. Ch. Trinocq; Lith. Destouches"; with some plates included from the first series of Beaumont's Fariboles bearing the imprint of Chez Aubert & Cie.
Running title at head of each plate: Fariboles.
Two series of lithographs were executed by Beaumont under the title Fariboles; the first consisting of 96 plates issued from 1847 to 1851, and the second containing a total 208 plates, issued from 1853 to 1858.
Library's copy consists of 167 plates only, chiefly from the second series of Beaumont's Fariboles, with some duplication in numbering and individual plates from the earlier series included.
