Collection 14 of lithographs by Toulouse-Lautrec, originally commissioned in 1895 by M. Batlan to appear as lithographic song sheet covers for popular ballads containing music by Désiré Dihau and poems by Jean Richepin; lithographs printed and issued by Batlan's successor, music publisher C. Joubert; the plates printed from the original lithographic stones preserved by the Joubert firm.
Edition comprising 20 copies on chine containing a suite of the plates in black and white and an additional suite in color, numbered I-XX, and an issue of 100 copies on vélin blanc, numbered 1-100, with a single set of the lithographs printed in black and white.
Library had copy no. 15 on vélin blanc.
