Published suite of 24 numbered lithographs, 20 of which were originally published in Le Charivari from Aug 14, 1846 to Feb. 5, 1848, with the remaining 4 prints evidently created for inclusion in the completed set; one of a series of suites of plates issued with the series title "Oeuvres nouvelles de Gavarni".
