Dated in first lines of text: This is the last will and testament of me, Sarah Dutchess Dowager of Marlborough, made this 11th day of August, in the year of our Lord 1744.
Printed on recto only, in four columns separated by single rules. Woodcut portrait of Sarah Churchill below caption title, between columns two and three.
At foot, below imprint: [manicule] Note, The codicil to the above will, containing her personal estate, &c. bequeathed, in above an hundred legacies, to several noble persons and relations, and to all her servants, will be published, in a few days, printed on the same paper and letter as this (without the least abridgment) at the price of one penny each. The two sheets of the Will and Codicil will be cheapest by sixpence of any yet offered to the publick.
