Opie "Three Centuries (18) describes this little book as" one of the three earliest known collections of nursery rhymes, and the first to have also (in 1768) been published in America.
First edition, containing the earliest printed versions of "Little Boy Blue" and "This pig went to market" along with seven other nursery rhymes for children.
Alte Welch's copy is now in UCLA collection.
