This book is accompanied by a letter from a Stuttgart bookdealer, Moritz Levi, written about 1890 in which he says that he bought the book from the estate of Hartneck's son. A lithographed sheet showing city of Stuttgart and the tools of the various trades is laid in. The certificate is dated March 18th, 1850, and is signed among others by Hartneck.
