Forty-five handcolored aquatint prints are pasted together in a long strip, accordion-style folded and mounted on linen. The panorama depicts the view of both banks of the Thames travelling West, from Westminster Bridge to Richmond Hill, a distance of 15 miles. The names of every building, park, and bridge are keyed in. Engraved titles at the beginning and end of the strip.
With accordion-style folded panorama: "View of London from the Adelphi published by Samuel Leigh, 18 Strand, to accompany The Panorama of the Thames from London to Richmond, etched and aquatinted by Mr. Clark." The strip of the three handcolored aquatint prints depicts major interesting views of London, seen from upper level of a building near the Adelphi
