In 1795 was published "The birth and triumph of Cupid", a series of 24 plates engraved by P.W. Tomkins from designs by Lady Dashwood, with engraved dedication leaf to the Queen.
Burges's poem, inspired by these plates, was published without illustration, but a publisher's advertisement notifies purchasers that they could procure the plates separately and a leaf of directions to the binder is provided.
