Petrarch's Rime are edited by Federigo Ubaldini from Petrarch's autograph sheets in the Vatican Library (Cod. Vat. 3196), the so called "Fragmenti" which, formerly in the possession of Cardinal Bembo, had come to the Vatican Library in the collections of Fulvio Orsini in 1600.

Published in 1750 under title: Il trattato delle virtu' morali di Roberto, re di Gerusalemme, Il tesoretto di Ser Brunetto Latini, quattro canzoni di Bindo Bonichi da Siena, con alcune rime di M. Francesco Petrarca estratte da un suo originale.
The author of the Trattato delle virtv̀ morali is Graziolo Bambaglioli, not King Robert as was formerly believed.
