Provenance
A presentation copy from the King (to his son? with the King's initial signature and inscription - damaged - on the fly-leaf. The book in poor condition, believed to have been Charles I's copy as it was found among the papers given by him, shortly before his death, to Sir Francis Winnington, his secretary); Mary Stuart collection.
