Collation: A-E⁴, 20 leaves, E4 blank. Fol. 1 with woodcut arms of the houses of Savoy & Portugal. f2 has a cut showing the little niece of the author presenting the book(?) or reciting an oration(?) in the presence of the newly married couple ... also used on f16[superscript]b; 27 lines; small woodcut initials.
In honor of the marriage of Charles III. of Savoy and Beatrix of Portugal on 8 April 1521.
This special copy was printed on vellum and illuminated for presentation to Manuel of Portugal, father of the bride and has a ms. dedicatory address inserted after the title on an extra leaf.

Inscriptions/Markings
The coats of arms - Savoy & Portugal are painted on the t.p. in reverse position to those in the paper ed. (with the woodcuts scraped away). The woodcut at head of text (colored in this copy) represents the niece of the author, presenting or reciting from the book, to the newly married couple. (f16 with the duplicate of this cut, is wanting).
