Paris, Audot, 1816-1827, published in 8 v. Plates are arranged alphabetically by French name of plant, and the only additions to the originals are, in small italics in lower corners, the habitat and date of flowering of plant shown, and the key to dissections.

The designs by Pancrace Bessa (with the ... S. Goulet, J.B. Devisse, A.F. Dennel, J.B. Bigant, Bion de la Tour, L.C. Ruotte, J.C. Susemihl, C.M.F. Dien, J. Marchand, M. Mien, Baroy, and Carnonkel. Nos. [90] and [232] are both designed and engraved by Bittermann.
V. 1-3 have 100 plates each; v. 4 has 86 plates.
