First English translation by E.C. Bigmore, 1887 has title: The printed book; its history, illustration and adornment, "having become exhausted, I have availed myself of the opportunity to subject the work to a careful revision. The extensive additions, which include sixty-five new illustrations, and entirely fresh matters treated of in this ed., make it practically a new work, while under the process it has grown to nearly double its original size ... A special chapter based on a treatise by M.A. Einsle, of Vienna, has also been added, on the art of ..."
