Of the large Passion subjects 30 are by Hans Leonhard Schäufelein, his monogram on the moodcuts on verso of folios LXVII and LXXIII; 4 by Hans Baldung Grien are the full-page cuts on verso of folio LI and on folios LIII and LXV and verso of Folio I which was erroneously attributed by Bertsch VII, 254 to Schäufelein; 6 small cuts on folios XXXIX recto to LIIII verso are also by H. Baldung Grien and repeated from "Der beschlossene, Garten des Rosenkranzes Mariae," 1505 (PML 20624); one cut on folio XXI verso executed probably by Wolf Traut.
