2 woodcut borders on t.p.'s, 2 full page woodcuts; intials throughout except for leaves with unfilled spaces. 29 leaves containing 129 woodcuts of fishes. The full page cuts on ff. 57[superscript]b and 66[superscript]b may be after, or adapted from cuts of Lucas Cranach.
Collation: a[superscript]4, A[superscript]4, B[superscript]6, C-L[superscript]4, M[superscript]6, H[superscript]4, I[superscript]4, K[superscript]4 (=3-4 blank, w.?) Note. M[superscript]5 is printed Mii, (? a "cancelled title-page, 1520" pt. a[superscript]5 therefore ... with 5-6 ...) 14[superscript]a, 37 lines. Size of page 8 1/2 x 11 3/6 in. = 208 x 290mm Muther no. 1781.

T.p., last page and others, stained and fixed; 57[superscript]c, (t.p. to Book 3) cut off at bass, injuring the cut; the edges of the leaves stained red.
