Notes
First edition.
Title within ornamental border, with initials T.P. (T.B.?) at foot of page.
Gothic type, initials.
The date on the title page is probably correct, as Berthelet died 1555/56, and his nephew Thomas Powell, though sometimes using his colophon without the word "late", did not print after 1563. The border on the title page appears on other books printed in 1549 and earlier. cf. Davenport, Thomas Berthelet, and Duff, Cent. of Eng. book-trade.
