Engraved copies, many in reverse, of Romein de Hooghe's etchings, which had appeared in editions with French and Dutch letterpress, published respectively under titles Miroir de la bonne mort and Spieghel van een salighe doodt (both probably Antwerp, 1673), the letterpress being ascribed on t.p. to David de la Vina (David de la Vigne). In these editions an authorization for translation from the Spanish is dated 1673; original Spanish title given by Brunet and others as: Espejo de buena muerte. Cf. Brunet; Landwehr, 84; Funcke.
