"Problematum Aristotelis" (38 books or questions of physics, biology, medicine and morals, translated by Theodoro Gaza) has been spuriously attributed to Aristotle and is properly categorized among his dubia. Cf. Brill's New Pauly. Work was likely written by fellow scholars or successors at the Peripatos as supplement to the Parva naturalia.
"Problematum Alexandri" is no longer attributed to Alexander of Aphrodisias.
Reprint of the 1504 edition, with Aldus's letter of dedication to Matthew Lang von Wellenburg, councillor to Emperor Maximilian I and bishop of Gurk, dated 1504, on leaf a1 verso.

Binding
16th-century Venetian gilt-tooled black morocco for Granvelle by the Fugger Binder, part of an order placed by Granvelle in 1547 through the Venetian bookseller Gabriele Giolito (see Bibliotheca Brookeriana, pt. 1); rebacked (by Duprez Lahey?). Gilt edges, with purplish-brown title panel and volume number.
