16th-century Italian (Venice?) gilt-tooled brown morocco over paper boards, similar to bindings by the Mendoza binder (Andrea di Lorenzo?); rebacked, with renewed pastedowns and endleaves. Gilt-tooled title: Pōtani. Vrania. (top board) and initials: ĪA ŌB (bottom board). Gilt and gauffered edges.
