Signed by author? on p. [3], v.1. Manuscript poems in an unknown hand inscribed throughout book: the germ of "Maud," published in the Tribute as 'Stanzas" (PML 7504), is inscribed on front and rear fly-leaves; "The Deserted House" inscribed on p. 52-3, vol. 1 and added in manuscript to table of contents; "The Golden Year" inscribed on one folded leaf tipped in following p. 82, vol. 2 and also added to contents; plus two clippings of Tennyson's poems from contemporary newspapers mounted to final leaves; some ink annotations have been rubbed out.
