Notes
Two states of the imprint noted. The first (Bristol B59; Shipton & Mooney 39220; Wing 1219) reads "by John Browning"; in the second (Evans 320; Wing 1218) this is corrected to "by Joseph Browning."
Also reissued as part 2 of his Kometographia, 1683.
"The latter sign discoursed of, in a sermon preached ... August, 31. 1682 ... by Increase Mather ..."--[2], 32 p. at end, with separate title page (Evans 321); with separate pagination but with the gatherings of the two texts collating continuously (i.e., A-C⁸(-C8) followed by C8-E⁸); apparently not issued separately.
Formerly bound with (PML 3598.1): Mather, Increase. The life and death of that reverend man of God, Mr. Richard Mather, teacher of the church in Dorchester in New-England. Cambridge [Mass.] : Printed by S[amuel] G[reen] and M[armaduke] J[ohnson], 1670.
