Originally issued between August 1787 and April 1796 in 20 parts, each containing six (seven in parts 18) outline etched plates. Most of the plates were etched by Amant-Parfait Prieur. The original drawings for this and subsequent collections of Grands Prix are at the École des Beaux-Arts, Paris. Continued in 1806 as Projets d'architecture et autres productions de cet art, 1806.
