"The shyp of fooles, set in 16 pt. Blado, on Gutenberg paper, was completed in an edition of two hundred copies in the summer of 1982; at High Loft, the printing office of August Heckscher, Seal Harbor Maine; Tome Coleman and Karen MacDonald, printers"--Colophon. There were 50 copies numbered I to L to be issued with portfolio of Robert Neuman's 6 etchings, published by High Loft the following year.
"The woodcuts for our Shyp of fooles are taken ... from the original Durer woodcuts in the Basle edition of 1497"--P. [6]. They are reproduced from Jameson's 1874 ed., for which the Dürer originals were recut without change by J.T. Reid.
