16th-century Venetian gilt-tooled brown morocco for Granvelle by the Fugger Binder, part of an order placed by Granvelle in 1547 through the Venetian bookseller Gabriele Giolito (see Bibliotheca Brookeriana, pt. 1). Gilt edges, with purplish-brown title panel and volume number.
