"The printing of this edition of the Book of Common Prayer on vellum was finished on the Thirty-first day of January, MDCCCXCIV at the De Vinne press in the city of New York. The plan of symbolism and method of decoration were arranged by Mr. Daniel Berkeley Updike: the preparatory studies of plants were made by Mr. William Wells Bosworth: the designs for the borders and cover by Mr. Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue, and the final drawings for reproduction by Mr. Joseph Eliot Hill"--colophon.
Title and text printed inside floral borders.
On t.p. verso the note of Certification dated Baltimore, October 21, 1892 is signed in autograph by Wm. Croswell Doane, William Stevens Perry, Henry Codman Potter, W.R. Huntington, John Steinfort Kedney, Samuel Hart, J. Pierpont Morgan, Joseph Packard, Jr. and Samuel Eliot.
Laid in: 2 broadsides containing typographical corrections, one signed in the autograph of Samuel Hart and the Supplement showing variants from the Prayer book of the American church, viii p., printed on vellum.
