Composition made from fragments with a roundel of male saint in center flanked by roundels of 2 female saints
Acquired by J. Pierpont Morgan (1837-1913), New York, and installed in his library 1907-1909.
Central vignette with building background, two figures (one kneeling) before an angel. Beside this are fragments of: (LEFT): Virgin or female figure reading a book, (RIGHT): Virgin as queen of heaven with sword (or St. Catherine?) Below are two square fragments with cherubs, palms, adopt a bottom fragment featuring a pelican. The male head is similar to the soldiers' heads those found in AZ63.
