Summary
The tall window on the 1906 Library's facade illuminates a small cubby designed to hold oversize folio volumes. The central element of this window is a square scene framed into an oval with colored glass. The sinister scene features two armored men attacking or robbing a man who tries to defend himself with raised arms. It has not been connected to a biblical narrative but could be a moralizing message about cruelty, violence or theft.
