Summary

A coat of arms (azure a rose argent barbed and seeded or; crest: a wing azure to dexter charged as the field; mantling of the colors) surmounted by a barred helm and surrounded by luxuriant blue and white mantling dominates the panel. Its crest is silhouetted against a yellow ribboned background. The shield is in front of a low balustrade and rests on a blue and yellow tiled floor. On either side, podiums embellished with cherub heads support the patron saints of the donor. On the left John the Baptist wears a red cloak over a short brown tunic and holds a book with the lamb of God shouldering a cross. On the right, Rudolph is depicted as a martial saint, wearing a blue cuirass over his chest, brown boots, and leather lappets hanging from his waist over a short green skirt. He wears the victor's laurel wreath and holds the palm of martyrdom in his left hand and a sword in his right. A red cloak is draped over his arms. The men are silhouetted against a white ribboned ground under a blue architrave supported by columns. In the center, the architrave becomes an arch framing the heraldic crest. At the bottom of the window the illusion of three-dimensional space continues. Two column bases are inscribed with the religious monograms of IHS and MR, for Jesus and his mother. They flank a dedicatory cartouche with a gold scrollwork frame.
