French 19th-century dark blue morocco, gold tooled by R. Petit of Paris, crowned arms of a member of the Borelli-Angosse de Combères family stamped in gold on both covers and surrounded by a semis of a monogram composed of the initials AB; doublures of red morocco covered with a semis of the same monogram; in a dark blue solander case.
Purchased by J. Pierpont Morgan (1837-1913) in 1907.
