French 18th-century red levant morocco, having in the center of both panels the arms of Louis XV of France; at the foot of fol. 1 the label of Padeloup, reading: Relié par Padeloup Relieur du Roy, place Sorbonne à Paris; lettered on back: Leçons des Matines de Noel; in red morocco case lettered: Manuscript written and bound by Padeloup for Louis XV. At bottom of spine is a green dot.
