Rahir (no. 30399); purchased by J. Pierpont Morgan (1837-1913) from Gruel in 1905; J.P. Morgan (1867-1943).

Ms. psalter-hours for the use of Rome; calendar in French; written and illuminated in Bourges, France, or the Loire River Valley, 1455-1460.
Decoration: 15 miniatures with floral borders, 1 of the miniatures a later addition; unusual full-page miniature of the Sacred Relics of the Passion, seemingly added along with 6 following leaves after manuscript was finished.
