Notes: 

Ms. book of hours for the use of Besançon; written and illuminated in Besançon or Savoy, ca. 1470.
Artist: a follower of Antoine de Lonhy.
Decoration: 21 large miniatures, 11 small border miniatures.
The illumination of M.196 is unfinished. The heraldic shield in the upper left margin of fol. 78r has not been painted.
