Made for a member of the Pitti-Taddei de'Gaddi family, arms (azure, a cross flowery and bendy nebuly of six argent and sable) on fol. 20, 61, 104v, 140; Alexander Bain sale (London, July 1, 1901, no. 1084) to Quaritch; purchased by J. Pierpont Morgan (1837-1913) in 1902; J.P. Morgan (1867-1943).
