Ms. bifolio (2 conjoined leaves) from a 15th-century gradual, likely written in Genoa, Italy.
Decoration: The recto of the first leaf of the bifolio features a large penwork initial "A" of "Ad te levavi animam meam" (To you I have lifted up my soul), which begins the Introit for the First Sunday of Advent. The Introit is rubricated as "D[omi]nica prima in adventu D[omi]ni officiu[m]."
