Ms. single leaf with miniature portraying the Crucifixion; illuminated in Austria, second quarter of the 15th century.
Decoration: 1 miniature representing the Crucifixion flanked by the Virgin and St. John; 1 roundel with the Man of Sorrows at lower center of vinescroll border.
The leaf probably once illustrated the Canon of the Mass in a Missal.
The miniature has been attributed to a Bohemian artist, ca. 1410-1420, by Dr. Torök Gyongyi in 1986.
